Using SHINX

SHINX gives you a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use the app for lawful, private reflection and goal-setting. You remain responsible for your choices, plans and actions.

Your content

You retain rights in the goals and notes you enter. Version 1.0 processes and stores that information locally on your device. Do not enter content you do not have the right to use.

Generated content

Future-self stories are motivational prompts. They may be incomplete, repetitive or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review them critically and do not rely on them as factual predictions.

No guaranteed outcomes

SHINX does not guarantee income, customers, employment, relationships, health outcomes or personal transformation. Visualisation is not a substitute for planning, evidence or professional advice.

Wellbeing and professional advice

SHINX is not therapy, crisis support, medical, financial, legal or career advice. If you need urgent or specialised help, contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service.

Prohibited use

Do not misuse SHINX for unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, security-testing, scraping, resale or automated high-volume activity.

Availability

Features may change as the product develops. The initial version is offered free of charge and contains no subscription or in-app purchase.

Apple terms

Your download and use through Apple’s App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and standard end-user licence agreement.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law.
