What SHINX does

SHINX helps you describe a goal, listen to a future-self visualisation and record one step you took toward it.

Data collection

The initial iOS release does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. SHINX does not sell personal information.

Information stored on your device

Goal details, generated story text, timer choices and evidence notes are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded by the iOS app in version 1.0. Removing the app may remove this information.

Speech

Spoken narration uses Apple’s built-in device speech features. SHINX does not send your story to an external voice provider in version 1.0.

Your choices

You can change or remove your locally stored content inside the app, or remove all app data by deleting SHINX from your device.

Important boundaries

Do not enter passwords, financial account details, medical records or other highly sensitive information. SHINX is a reflection and action tool, not professional advice, therapy or a promise of results.

Future changes

If accounts, cloud storage, AI services, analytics or payments are added, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those features are released.
